Lorraine Bohn

Originally from Saskatchewan, Lorraine is now a resident of Gimli, Manitoba, Canada.

Lorraine began her artistic career while living in a somewhat isolated National Park in British Columbia.
While her husband was employed by the R.C.M.P., Lorraine and her family were subject to many transfers
in British Columbia and Manitoba until finally retiring and settling in Gimli. On these many moves,
Lorraine was able to enjoy the changing landscapes and she painted everything from mountain to prairie scenes.

A landscape Artist, Lorraine paints in watercolours, acrylics, oils and mixed media.

Lorraine has to her credit several commissioned paintings and her works can be found in private collections in Canada, the United States, Mexico, England, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Spain, Iceland and Australia.

Lorraine has, as a member of the Gimli Art Club, completed three paintings on the Sea Wall at the Harbour in Gimli, Manitoba.  Paintings presently on display in Gimli at White Caps Restaurant and Gimli Art Club
