Erika Hanneson

Erika enjoys taking daily hikes within the forests or along the beaches near her hometown of Gimli, Manitoba. Her artwork reflects the inspiration she has drawn from these landscapes. She pursed her BFA at the University of Manitoba where she was exposed to a variety of artistic mediums. Erika continues to experiment with a variety of materials and techniques but ceramic art and acrylic paintings remain her main areas of focus. Figures, natural textures and objects, and vibrant colours are features of Erika’s work.
